So you are saying I should have rather concentrated on reducing oil on my face than only fight acne?
Yea duh, Acne is a result of oil, bacteria & dirt filled open pores on your pretty face. Oily faces have visible open pores as the sebum production in our body increases and needs an outlet. That in result makes the face look greasy like a pan, dull and dark within few hours of morning cleansing and in the long run causes Zits, whiteheads and blackheads! If wearing makeup to hide the acne causing clogged pores which is resulting in more acne then the open sebum filled pores are the problem girl.
I wash my face and in few hours its dull, darker with a shiny T - Zone. Is all this oil so bad?
Sebaceous glands are located within the skin and are responsible for secreting an oily substance called sebum. The right amount of Sebum lubricates the skin, protecting it from drying out or becoming irritated. It also removes dead skin cells and other irritants from your pores. However, when overactive sebaceous glands produce excess sebum, your skin looks shiny and your pores can become clogged, leading to a host of skin imperfections.
Can I take this if I am on birth control?

Isn't Vitamin A the best vitamin for acne-prone skin?
When taken at low doses, oral vitamin A (retinol) is not widely regarded as being efficacious in the quelling common breakouts. Studies show that retinol was not effective at the daily doses of 50,000 to 100,000 IU, which is the limit a person can have as a dietary supplement.
Can these be taken with prescription medication?
Acne (-ve) 1 is 100% drug free and in a lot of cases are taken alongside prescription medications. That said, we always recommend you speak with your health practitioner first.
What if I miss a few days?
Just like exercising at the gym or eating healthily, consistency is key. B+F ingredients build up in your system overtime to bring your skin back to homeostasis, so taking Acne (-ve) 1 daily for at least 3 months will optimise its benefits. Since it does have a cumulative effect in your system, you could miss a few days and resume the protocol without adverse effects. That said, try not to miss it, just like you wouldn't miss your nightly cleanse and moisturise routine!
Can I take antibiotics and Acne (-ve)1 at the same time?
If you’ve been prescribed an antibiotic, please consult your doctor before using SKIN DISCIPLINE or any other supplements during your course of antibiotics. Leading medical advice recommends that antibiotics be taken several hours apart from all other medications and supplements
Are there risks of taking Acne (-ve)1 with thyroid medication?
As always, if you have a medical condition or are taking prescription medications, we advise you consult with your doctor before beginning any new dietary supplement, including Acne (-ve) 1. We may be risk-takers, but never when it comes to your health!
Is Acne (-ve) 1 suitable for everyone?

Does this product make you break out more in the beginning?
Given Acne (-ve) 1 works to regulate sebaceous gland activity and increase cell turnover, some customers may experience initial purging symptoms whilst acclimating to the protocol. This should be short-lived and is often times a sign of the product doing its thing.

Any precautions to take?

Wash frequently after sweating. Leaving sweat on the skin and allowing it to dry can make acne worse, so it is best to wash the skin as soon as possible after sweating. Acne (-ve)2 is a stronger version of Acne (-ve)1, specifically formulated for severe acne concerns like Acne vulgaris. It contains higher doses of effective blend of Vitamins, Minerals, and ALA to work towards oil and severe acne control on the skin.

What do you mean when you say broad-spectrum protection?
Broad-spectrum covers both UVA and UVB rays (as opposed to just one). UVA = Protects against the aging rays (let's just quickly note that aging is NOT a dirty word. UVB = protects against burning rays. Acne (-ve) Sunscreen deflects and blocks both types of rays for comprehensive sun protection.
I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. Is Acne (-ve) Sunscreen safe for me?
Acne (-ve) Sunscreen has been formulated and tested to be 100% non-comedogenic, meaning it is perfect for sensitive, acne-prone skin.
Does Acne (-ve) Sunscreen leave a chalky white cast?
Acne (-ve) Sunscreen has been formulated with actives to leave your skin protected without the chalky white cast other sunscreens may leave you with.
Can I wear Acne (-ve) Sunscreen under makeup?
Acne (-ve) Sunscreen has a matte finish, It's also the base your face needs prior to makeup! It helps the foundation blend and hold its position.
Do I need to reapply Acne (-ve) Sunscreen?
Yes! One and done simply will not do. You should reapply every 2 hours, especially when swimming or sweating.
Will Acne (-ve) Sunscreen protect me from hyperpigmentation?
Sun exposure worsens any kind of dark spots or hyperpigmentation. Acne (-ve) Sunscreen is high in antioxidants and potent brighteners like Vitamin C, so while it's protecting you from UV rays it's also protecting your skin from hyperpigmentation forming or worsening.
Is it true that sunscreen is effective against the *signs of aging*?
We don’t like to say anti-aging, because that connotes negativity and aging is a beautiful process! However, chemical and mineral sunscreens block harmful UV rays, while ceramide NG + hyaluronic acid boost skin “bounce” to keep skin supple + plump, thereby preventing skin degradation.
Should I wear Acne (-ve) Sunscreen when it's cloudy or raining?
You absolutely should! You should even wear it while sitting by a sunny window. UV rays are crafty! They can penetrate your skin through clouds and through windows. Rain, hail, shine, or cloud— Acne (-ve) Sunscreen is non-negotiable!
Is it water resistant?
Acne (-ve) Sunscreen is water resistant! But after swimming or profuse sweating, always reapply :)
Is Acne (-ve) Sunscreen tested on animals?
Definitely not!
Is this safe to use on my kids?
We recommend using a mineral (physical) sunscreen without the presence of chemical filters on your kiddos' gentle skin.
SPF 50 seems high. Do I really need that level of protection?
Skin cancer is the most preventable form of cancer, and using a high-quality broad-spectrum SPF is the key to that prevention. skincancer.org says The SPF number tells you how long the sun’s UV radiation would take to redden your skin when using the product exactly as directed versus the amount of time without any sunscreen. So ideally, with SPF 30 it would take you 30 times longer to burn than if you weren’t wearing sunscreen. An SPF 30 allows about 3 percent of UVB rays to hit your skin. An SPF of 50 allows about 2 percent of those rays through. That may seem like a small difference until you realize that the SPF 30 is allowing 50 percent more UV radiation onto your skin.

Help! There’s a problem with my order. How do I get in touch?
Please send us a note to support@iamlove.in right away! Our fulfilled team processes orders very quickly, but we will try our best to accommodate your request!
Talk to me about exchanges and refunds.
Returns will only be accepted for products that have been damaged in transit or products that have physical defects or in case of incorrect product been shipped. An email with photos of the damaged/incorrect product should be sent within the stipulated time in order for us to accept the request.
Should you wish to return all or part of your order, you need to inform us within 48 hours of receipt of the products by writing to us on hello@iamlove.in.
Returns will not be accepted if the product has been used and/or the seal has been broken for the product and/or the serial number has been tampered with. On receipt of the returned product, I AM LOVE will proceed to inspect the same and validate the claim.
Once approved as an eligible return, a refund or replacement will be issued. If the product is found to be ineligible for return, the product will be couriered back to you.
If you made an online payment, we will refund the amount back in the original source (debit/credit card, bank, wallet, etc) within 7 working days of receiving the request from you.
For COD orders, we will refund the amount to your bank account within 14 working days of requesting a refund.
My order was faulty. What are my options?
We're so sorry your items arrived in less-than-perfect condition. Please email support@iamlove.in and upload 2-3 clear photos of the fault, indicating whether you'd prefer a replacement or refund. We'll get back to you shortly with a refund process, or send you out a brand new item.
We'll then email you when the refund has been processed OR when your replacement has been dispatched. We always do our best to resolve faulty tickets as quickly as possible! :-)

Which naughty, nasty ingredients do I need a heads up about?
You'll be pleased to hear that all iamlove products are free of parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, methylisothiazolinone, formaldehyde, benzalkonium chloride, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, mercury, oxybenzone and other harmful, unsavoury things. iamlove does not test on animals, nor do we pay others to do so.
What's your stance on sustainability?
Our Spotless, Beauty + Filter and Future is packed in glass bottles with biodegradable caps. Our Protein offerings are packed in Biodegradable PET bottles. We are always on the lookout for reducing our carbon footprint and will improve wherever and whenever possible.
